Cordoama View Point: A short drive from Sagres, my absolute favourite spot for a morning surf check and some great photos. This viewpoint offers stunning views of the coastline and the Atlantic Ocean. Situated high above the sea, the Cordoama View Point provides an expansive view of the surrounding landscape.
Perfect for a couple photo session or a secret porposal. Below on the right side you will see Praia da Cordoama that is part of the Costa Vicentina natural park, which makes the surroundings unspoiled and truly magical. The beach is very long, stretching for well over a kilometre, which is ideal for a long beach walk while admiring the beauty of the black cliffs and the ocean. For photos It is best to visit early morning until 10.30 or sunset when the light is soft and warm, casting a beautiful golden glow over the scenery if you are lucky during the summer you will get also some mist that will make everything a little more magic.
Cordoama Beach:
Oh, let me tell you about Praia da Cordoama, it's one of those hidden treasures
that every photographer dreams of stumbling upon. This beach is part of a long sandy stretch along the coast, just a little west of Vila do Bispo. What's fascinating is that when the tide is low, Cordoama connects seamlessly with its neighboring beaches, Castelejo and Barriga, creating an enormous expanse of sandy goodness.
The best part? These beaches are nestled within the stunning Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina Natural Park, which means they've been spared from the mass tourism. They maintain their unspoilt beauty, allowing us photographers to capture the raw and untouched essence of the coastline. It's a breath of fresh air, really.
Cordoama and its neighboring beaches are a haven for surfers. These spots are renowned for picking up those big Atlantic swells that roll in year-round. Castelejo Beach: Located on the left side of the Cordoama view point, this secluded beach is surrounded by towering back
cliffs and rock formations its super famous among photographers. The beach is also popular among surfers and beachgoers and offers an excellent opportunity for photography during low tide both for stunning seascapes shots and for portraits sessions. Explore the rock formations at low tide , and take advantage of the beautiful light during the golden hour, which will cast a warm glow over the beach and surrounding cliffs often also gets misty at sunset.

Cabo de Sao Vicente: it's a photographer's spot. As a couple photographer myself, I can't help but get excited about the endless opportunities this place offers to capture beautiful moments. Picture this: you and your loved one standing at the edge of the rugged cliffs, with the vast Atlantic Ocean stretching out before you.
